Every recovery
has a day one.

Trauma-informed therapy for people who are ready to start, or start again.

How we work

Therapy that meets you on the day you’re actually having.

Not the day you think you should be having, or the version of yourself you imagine other clients bring in. Day One Therapy and Wellness was built around a simple idea: the work only starts once it’s honest. Sessions are trauma-informed, evidence-based, and paced to where you are — whether that’s your first day sober, your first day naming something you’ve carried quietly, or the ordinary Tuesday when the anxiety got loud again.

Based in Newtown and serving Bucks County and New Jersey, our practice holds space for the full weight of what people bring, without asking them to minimize it first.

Processing past and ongoing trauma at a pace the nervous system can tolerate.
